Azerbaijan confirms 65 new coronavirus cases, 54 recovered

65 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 54 patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospital, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers has told AZERTAC.

According to the Task Force, two Azerbaijani citizens, born in 1949 and 1961, have died after testing positive for COVID-19.

“The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 2,758, with 1,789 recoveries and 35 deaths, while treatment of 934 others is underway in the specialized hospitals. 30 of the infected are in a severe and 44 in a moderate-to-severe condition, while the health of others is stable.

A total of 208,546 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country so far,” the Task Force added.
