Azerbaijan, Russian FMs hold phone talk

On the initiative of the Azerbaijani side, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has had a phone conversation with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stressed the importance of the trilateral statement signed on November 10 on the initiative of the Russian Federation, noting that this document marked a new stage in resolving the long-running conflict. Minister Bayramov thanked Russia for its continued efforts to ensure peace in the region.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov hailed the signing of this statement, which is an important step towards resolving the conflict. He said the decision was of great importance for ensuring sustainable peace in the region.
