Azerbaijani, Pakistani FMs meet in Dushanbe

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with his Pakistani counterpart Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi on the sidelines of the 9th Ministerial Conference of the “Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process” held in Dushanbe.

The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, including the prospects of cooperation between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and companies of Pakistan, as well as bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation.

Noting the importance of expanding economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, the sides emphasized the significance of holding the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in Baku.

The FMs also stressed the importance of developing inter-parliamentary relations.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
