Azerbaijanis living in Cologne, Germany, protested against the provocation committed by the Armenian Armed Forces in the direction of the Tovuz region of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, Chairman of the German-Azerbaijani Radiological and Neuroradiological Society, doctor of medical sciences at the University of Cologne Clinic Nuran Abdullayev told APA.

According to Abdullayev, hundreds of our compatriots took part in peaceful action. Azerbaijanis from other German cities also joined the action in the Breslaur Platz area of the city.

Protesters marched through the central streets of the city, chanting slogans about the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, the suffering of neighboring Armenia and the realities of Karabakh.

Slogans such as “Martyrs never die, the homeland never be divided”, “Karabakh is ours, it will be ours”, “Karabakh is Azerbaijan and an exclamation mark” were chanted in support of the Azerbaijani Army and people.

The protesters also brought to the attention of Cologne residents the fact that the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on houses and targeted civilians in the Tovuz region.

Earlier, a protest rally was held on July 18 in Dusseldorf.
