Azerbaijan`s daily COVID-19 recoveries more than infections

Azerbaijan on Tuesday continued its positive trend of more people recovering from coronavirus daily than catching it.

The Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers said 588 more people recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally to 28,348, while another 226 people contracted the virus, bringing the total count of infections thus far to 32,910.

The country’s death toll from the disease rose to 473, with 5 new fatalities reported over the last 24 hours.

As many as 6,409 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours, raising the total number of tests to 751,246, the Task Force added.
