The regular elections of the chairman of the board, board members, chairmen and members of the committees and working groups of the Caspian Energy Club started on March 16. Grand CEO Lunch was arranged on the first day of the elections with the participation of representatives from over 20 government agencies and 130 companies, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Caspian Energy Club Group Telman Aliyev told AZERTAC.

“Every year, on the third day of the third week of March, the Caspian Energy Club holds elections for new leadership. Every election implies a new page in the history of the Caspian Energy Club which is marking its 20th anniversary this year.

During the pandemic we tried to be more active and useful, and have arranged over 270 online and offline events since March 30, 2020. Today, giving the gratitude certificates to the government officials and representatives of private companies, we once again emphasize what a big family we are, and that we are all trying to further develop the investment and business climate in Azerbaijan. During the pandemic, we have become the leading international platform for business networking in our region,” Telman Aliyev said.

Participating in the event were Elmir Valizade – Head of the Digital Media Sector of the Work and Communication with Ngos Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rufat Guliyev – Milli Majlis Deputy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Orkhan Mammadov – Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), Yusif Abdullayev – Acting President of Azpromo, Samira Musayeva – Deputy Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rustam Shahbazov – Deputy Head of the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mustafa Abbasbeyli – Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Service Under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Fuad Heydarov – Head of the State Labor Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ismail Huseynov – First Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elkhan Asadov – Deputy Head of the State Agency for Safety Supervision in Construction under the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ziya Aliyev – General Director of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Orkhan Aliyev – Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Advertising Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Caspian Energy Club which brings together over 5,000 companies and organizations from 50 countries was established in June 2002. As an active participant of the business-to-government dialogue, the major objective of the Caspian Energy Club is to improve the investment and business climate in Azerbaijan and in other countries where the Caspian Energy Club operates, as well as to stimulate and actively participate in the B2G, B2B and B2C dialogues.

The Caspian Energy Club is the international business-networking platform and regularly organizes various events. The head office of the Caspian Energy Club is in Baku. The Caspian Energy Club has official representative offices in Georgia and Kazakhstan, and authorized representatives in different countries around the world.
