Head of International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation presents book to President of Turkey

Head of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, presented to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan the first book of stories by the outstanding Turkish writer Omar Seyfeddin published by the Foundation in Germany.

The book was published on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of one of the famous representatives of Turkish literature, Omar Seyfeddin, with the aim of popularizing the author’s valuable works in the international arena and familiarising a wider audience with his rich artistic creativity. The book includes 10 of the most popular stories of the writer in German and Turkish. The publication was also sent to state libraries and schools in Germany, as well as to other European countries.

The author of the foreword to the book is the President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva. Translator of the book from Turkish into German is Hermann Kiel, while editor is Orhan Araz-a writer living in Germany.
