The 17th high level meeting of Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC) under the motto “Development of China, Opportunities for the World” will take place on June 24-25 in Beijing.
The event will be co-organized by NGIC and Chinese People`s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), and focus on a wide range of issues including the impact of China’s development, as the world`s second-biggest economy, on global and international cooperation, as well as opportunities created by the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
The event will be attended by NGIC Co-chairs, former heads of state and government, and a number of other influential people.
The event participants will also meet with Chinese high-ranking officials.
The Nizami Ganjavi International Center was established on 30 September 2012, and dedicated to the memory of great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi and to the study and dissemination of his works with a mission to build a dialogue and understanding between cultures and peoples for building functional and inclusive societies. The Nizami Ganjavi International Center was created with the multiple aims of preserving the reach cultural heritage of the past as well as encouraging and fostering current scholarship, research, cultural activity and social outreach.
