The registration process for the competitions involving schoolchildren, students and young entrepreneurs in preparation for TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival, which will be held for the first time in Baku on 26 – 29 May this year, jointly organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, has been completed.
About 1,000 young people have submitted their innovative projects for the competitions.
Numerous applications have been submitted individually and in groups for the Socially Oriented, Green and Agrarian Technologies, Robotics, Baku Skills, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, CanSat, Satellite Modelling, Glider and Smart Karabakh Hackathon competitions.
Speaking about the great interest in the competitions to be held within TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan, Advisor to the Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Bayramov said: “It is noteworthy that some 1,000 young people in Azerbaijan will attend the international festival to present their innovative projects and products. About 400 ideas and project proposals have been submitted by schoolchildren. I am sure that in the near future Azerbaijani youth will be able to fully demonstrate their potential in creating and exporting local innovative products and technologies.”
Registration for Smart Karabakh Hackathon, the Rocket League stage of European Cyber Sports Championship and the Take Off Baku International Startup Summit continues within the framework of TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan. The application deadline for the Take Off Baku Startup Summit is 31 March, and for the Smart Karabakh Hackathon and the Rocket League competition is April 1, 2022.
TEKNOFEST is the largest aerospace and technology festival in Turkey and has been held annually since 2018, organized by the Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. Holding the festival in Azerbaijan for the first time outside of Turkey is a clear example of the friendly, fraternal and strategic alliance between the two countries.
