Hungarian companies keen on participating in ongoing projects in Azerbaijani liberated areas

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized the increasing dynamics of relations between the two countries, highlighting the role of mutual official visits, high-level meetings, and legal and contractual framework in terms of expansion of economic relations.

The two also noted the important role of the joint commission on economic cooperation between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the government of the Republic of Hungary in strengthening economic and trade relations and implementing projects in various fields.

The ministers emphasized that Azerbaijan and Hungary cooperate not only on bilateral platforms, but also on a multilateral level.

Azerbaijan`s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov gave an insight into the work done to achieve the socio-economic goals of Azerbaijan, favorable business climate in the country, increased transport and transit potential in new realities, and the opportunities created for investors.

Hungarian Minister Péter Szijjártó stressed that Hungary attaches great importance to development of economic cooperation with Azerbaijan. He also said that the Hungarian companies are keen to participate in the ongoing projects in the Azerbaijani liberated territories.

The two ministers discussed development of economic and trade partnership in various directions.
