Nakhchivan hosts event to mark 99th anniversary of Republic of Turkiye

The Consulate General of the Republic of Turkiye in Nakhchivan has arranged an official reception to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkiye.

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov participated in the official reception.

Turkish Consul General Mehmet Emin Kiraz read out the letter by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the diplomatic representations of Turkiye in foreign countries on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the Republic of Turkiye.

Mr. Kiraz spoke about the bilateral relations, adding that his diplomatic tenure was completed and thanked the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly for the support provided him during this period.

Vasif Talibov congratulated the event participants, employees of the consulate and the brotherly people of Turkiye on the Republic Day and wished them prosperity and progress.
