This is a beautiful, fragrant jam that tastes sweet and yummy! It is also healthy, in that there are no preservatives or chemicals.

Tangerine jam is a way of preserving tangerines and enjoying them year-round. This jam is one of the easiest to make in some ways, because there is very little preparation time involved.

Serves: 5-6


  • 1 kg/2.2 lbs tangerines
  • 1,2 kg sugar


  • Blanch whole tangerines in water at 90 C water during 15 minutes. Cool down and keep in cold water for 10-12 hours. Half them, pour on hot syrup and keep for 6-8 hours. Boil syrup separately each time. Repeat procedure four times.
