Ter khalva is a traditional sweet, prepared in Azerbaijan, made by sugar powder or doshab and with wheat flour. Cinnamon gives unique taste to this meal.

- 400 g/1 lb wheat flour
- 200 g/8 oz melted butter
- 250 g/10 oz doshab or sugar powder
- Pinch of cinnamon.
- Heat up butter in pan, add flour and brown. Then put doshab or hot sugar syrup and heat up stirring continuously. Place khalva on a small or desert plate and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. One can roll in thin flat cake. One can replacedoshab for honey. In this case khalva quality increases.
