Azerbaijan’s Permanent Mission at the Council of Europe has hosted an event to commemorate the 15th anniversary of death of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Participants in the commemorative ceremony included Azerbaijani MPs, who are on a working visit to Strasbourg, Javanshir Feyziyev, Sahiba Gafarova, Azar Karimli, Elshad Hasanov, as well as the Azerbaijani Mission staff, and Azerbaijanis who live, work and study here.
In his remarks, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Fakhraddin Ismayilov highlighted national leader Heydar Aliyev`s exceptional role in ensuring international recognition of the independent Azerbaijan and strengthening the country`s independence.
