Saudi media highlights development of Azerbaijani-Saudi Arabian friendly relations

Saudi Arabia’s media outlets, including “Saudi Press” Agency, “Al Jazeera”, “Arabnews”, “Saudigazette” and other news portals have published articles highlighting statements by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on development of friendly relations between the two countries.

The articles mentioned that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev described the recently implemented project between two friendly countries in the sphere of energy as of great importance, saying that he wants to see companies from Saudi Arabia to participate in the large-scale reconstruction program carried out in the liberated territories.

The author said that Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud hailed tremendous potential based on the strong friendship between the two countries.

The articles also noted that this year marks 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia. The reports also highlighted the joint press conference of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, saying that the Azerbaijani FM expressed official Baku’s support to Saudi Arabia in its bid to host “Expo 2030” exhibition.
