SOCAR: The largest oil and gas reserves of Azerbaijan are in two fields

Initial oil and condensate reserves of Azeri Chirag Gunashli, Shahdaniz, Ashrafi, Garabagh, Umid and Absheron fields located in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea is estimated with 1 458 million tons, SOCAR told APA Economics.

1 340 million tons of the shown number falls to Azeri Chirag Guneshli (1 100 million tons) and Shahdaniz (240 million tons) fields.

Moreover, the initial gas reserves of these 6 fields are 2,440 bn. cubic meters, and 1 850 bn. cubic meters is located in Azeri Chirag Guneshli (650 bn. cubic meters) and Shahdaniz (1 200 bn. cubic meters) fields.
